About Me

I’m Debbi – a photographer, artist, and curious soul with a camera.
My love for photography began in childhood, when I filled my parents’ first smartphones with countless images of people, animals, and landscapes. Later, with my first digital camera in Vienna, I realized that photography is more than just taking pictures – it carries an element of power that one must be aware of. Photography became my language, my way of understanding the world. Today, I run my own photography business and continue exploring my passion in a small darkroom in my basement.

For me, photography means presence. It’s about capturing subtle gestures, laughter, and genuine emotions. My camera is a tool, a companion, and a mirror at once – it helps me navigate social anxieties and allows me to meet people with openness and respect.

My work is rooted in the belief that photography can create spaces of exchange and connection. I don’t aim to produce polished surfaces, but to reveal what is truly there – the tender, the imperfect, the alive. That is where I find beauty.

I am currently studying to become a teacher at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, where I specialize in Art & Designas well as Technology & Design. As a student assistant in the photography studio, I support Patrick Schaudy with the photographic work at the department.

I’m an open and lighthearted person, which helps create a relaxed atmosphere where natural, unposed images can unfold. At the same time, I know when it’s time to step back and simply observe. In this way, your wedding day won’t be staged but captured just as it truly was – authentic, emotional, and full of life.

No matter what kind of portrait photography you’re looking for, I have extensive experience in understanding and capturing the visions and wishes people have for their portraits. My photo sessions are relaxed and pressure-free. Since I’ve also experienced the other side of the camera myself, I do my best to ensure that people feel comfortable and at ease – whether in my studio or on location.
I always strive to achieve the most fitting results in my photography, experimenting with different styles and playing with light and shadow to create the mood you envision.
